I Hate Mondays

The long weekend is over. I have returned to my daily routine. Once again, time has conspired against me and forced me to endure another Monday.

The primary reason Mondays are inferior to other days is that they end the weekend, forcing workers to resume their work and students to resume their studies. After a long week of toil most people are ready for more than a trivial two days catch up, they want to have time to both relax and reconcile the difference between the pile of things that should be done and the pile of those that are done. To do this would require a far greater time than the mere 48 hours of a standard weekend provide. Weekends should continue as long as they are needed. Mondays prevent this.

While this has been said many times before by many people more intelligent than I, the stated purpose of this blog is to serve as a repository of things about which no one cares enough to listen. Therefore I have formed this post as cheap entertainment for myself.

Another Long Day

Please excuse the errors in this post, I have had a long day at school and am very tiresd. Additionally, my eyes are currently diliated due to today's visit to the optomitrist.

Now that the disclaimer is out of the way I can attempt to create a coherent post for my reader(s). Today I came to the unfortunate realization that the degree towards which I am currently working has been updated in such a was as to invalidate several of the classes I have already completed. The irritation I feel compels me to demolish something. Because spreading destruction would at the very least cause me future trouble and could lead to my arrest, I am instead ranting on my blog.

That Shirt

I was browsing online yesterday when I found an awesome t-shirt. It was a plane shirt with the phrase, “Guns don’t kill people, Abortion Clinics Kill People”. All I can say is, “I want that shirt.” I can only imagine how fun it would be to see the looks of shock and horror on the faces of my “peers” as I walk to class on this liberal college campus gleefully stomping on the politically correct sensibilities of those around me.

My Twisted Reasoning

Life as an unemployed assistant dictator can be rather lonesome. While I have a good supply of friends, I simply don't have time to nurture enough friendships to satisfy my need of catharsis. Because I have so much to say and because so little of it is of any interest to those around me, I have started a blog to say all the things that people are too busy to hear. Most of the time these things will merely be my opinions on various matters. Other posts will consist of random bits of thoughts created by misfirings of synapses in my brain.

Today I had some free time in the Lab so I decided to start a blog. It will be intersting to se how this turns out.
