I’ve taken to keeping ebooks in my email inbox and reading them between classes and whenever I have a free moment. As one would expect this gets me hooked into reading the books and I end up making time in my schedule to finish them. This month I read a little bit of G.K. Chesterton and then started rereading the Honor Harrington series by David Weber. Harrington is kind of like a science fiction version of Horation Hornblower.
Anyhow here’s the list:
1. The Napoleon of Notting Hill - G.K. Chesterton
2. The Club of Queer Trades - G.K. Chesterton
3. Frankenstein, or the Modern Prometheus - Mary Shelley
4. On Basilisk Station - David Weber
5. Honor of the Queen - David Weber
6. The Short Victorious War - David Weber
7. Field of Dishonour - David Weber
8. Flag in Exile - David Weber
9. Honor Among Enemies - David Weber
10. In Enemy Hands - David Weber
11. Echoes of Honor - David Weber
12. Ashes of Victory - David Weber
That makes a total of 54 books so far this year. Considering my abysmal performance last year I chose to set a low goal and shoot for 50 and now I’ve reached it with 2 months left to go. Maybe I can make it to 70.
