I just watched A Beautiful Mind and I have to say it is the best movie I’ve seen in a long time. I can’t believe I’ve put off watching it for such a long time.
It has almost all of my favorite elements: my favorite actor (Russel Crowe), a brilliant geek, a plot that requires thought yet maintains consistancy, clever humor and a romance that is touching rather than raunchy.
Four and a half of five stars.

As this semester comes to a close and I begin preparations for finals and my return home I am reminded just how near I am to graduation. I only have one more semester left before I complete my undergraduate education. I’ll be leaving the academic world for years at least and possibly forever. The beginning of my life is coming to a close.
But as Churchill said, “this is not the end.” I am looking forward to a my new life, making my own way in the world with the assistance and under the lordship of Divine Providence. I am confident that there are good things in store for me and that regardless of my worthiness I will be used by God to accomplish His purpose.
