I really don’t like any of the canidates running for president in ‘08. Hillary and Obama are pro-abortion, anti-gun, anti-freedom borderline socialists. Guilliani and McCain are RINO’s lacking conservative values and backbones. I’d be dismayed to see any of them move in to the White House.
For a couple months I’ve been looking for a canidate to say that I support and I’ve finally found one: Mike Pence. Admittedly, it doesn’t appear that he has a chance but it feels good to have someone to point at and say, “That’s what I want.”
What do I like about Representative Pence?
- He is unequivically pro-life. With a 0% rating from NARAL and a 100% rating from the Christian Coalition. He speaks annually at the March for Life and started a petition among Republicans Representatives declaring the need for a pro-life Speaker.
- He has an ‘A’ rating from the NRA and strongly favors, “Absolute right to gun ownership.” He was awarded the 2006 Charlton Heston “Courage Under Fire” award by NRA President Wayne LaPierre.
- He is a small govenment conservative. Supported by the Club for Growth, he supports deregulation, privatization and tax cuts. The diamond political graph places him as a “libertarian leaning conservative”
Let me summarize his positions in his own words, “a Christian, a conservative and a Republican. In that order.”
I’d still vote for Newt.

It’s great to know that we have finally have a leader worthy of our support. Somebody who is right on all the issues and stays true to our conservative principles. We must lift up Pence and continue to support him as the leader of the Conservative Movement. Keep up the great work!!!
