Package
Huzzah! I received another package from home on Tuesday, this time from my family. It was loaded with beef jerkey, dried mangoes (which are fabulously tasty), Sugar Daddies, tea and a pan and cookie mix.
I have been doing a little bit better about sending letters. I'm still a despicable scoundrel when it comes to keeping in touch but at least I'm progressing a little. I've got a fat envelope of letters sealed and ready for the post office. It'll be in the mail tomorrow.
In other news, Kimi, Steph and I are trying to organize a trip to Disneyland (the one in Japan, not California). Scheduling will be tough but I think we'll be able to make it work. It'll be awesome if we can pull it off.

So tell me, are you getting in the habit of ragging on everyone including yourself? Cuz it looks that way from here...
Nope, at least I don't think so. I'm just indulging in my long time habit of exaggeration.
OoooOOOooo.... dried mangos... I love those! ^_^
Disneyland! We are so going!
Can I come?
Dried mangoes? Never had that one. And a Disneyland in Japan? Coolness.
Last I knew, it was very illegal to import American beef into Japan since people were still paranoid about mad cow. When did they lift the ban?

I don't know but customs opened the package and inspected all of its contents so apparently American beef it isn't that big of a deal.
They may have lifted the ban because one of the restaurant chains advertises American beef.
This may not seem like a big deal but it is. Australian beef, the only kind imported under the ban, is TERRIBLE! It is utterly flavorless and bland.
