Accountablility
I've started attending a small bible study with a few friends from church. We meet each week to study God's word, discuss our personal devotions and fellowship.
One of the things that we are doing is making a conscious effort to hold each other accountable to spend time in the Word and in prayer. I haven't been doing very well with my devotions since coming to Japan but the encouragement from my Christian brothers is already starting to make a difference in the way that I prioritize my time and helping to focus on the eternal.
Your prayers would be appreciated (as always) as I strive to develop habits that will lead me into a deeper relationship with God.

I have friends who also live in Japan, Mike is English, Sveta is Ukrainian. He teaches English in a school. They also hold Bible studies in their home and having some success at reaching Japanese students with the Good News.
My wife and I hosted an exchange student from Japan 10 years ago. We learned alot about their culture through her.
I'll be praying for you, as always... I miss you.
Definantly! I am also doing an accountability group to keep track of the same thing.
Accountability groups are crucial. I'm trying to start one up here. Otherwise I fear my Bible readings will be left behind.
Yes, having acct is good as we are to sharpen each other as well as carry each other's burden.
