The Reading Rabenstrange
Just for the record the Bible fits categories 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8.
1. One book that changed your life
The Moon is a Harsh Mistress by R. A. Heinlein. It is one of the books that really drew me into Science Fiction. His lectures on govenment masterfully disguised as dialogue also had a strong influence on my political ideals.
2. One book that you’ve read more than once
Hardy Boys #2 The House on the Cliff. I read this book at least 10 times between my ninth and eleventh birthdays.
3. One book you’d want on a deserted island
My new NASB Bible. If I were stranded on an island I would take it as a sign that I needed to get in touch with the one who put me there.
4. One book that made you laugh
My Man Jeeves by P.G. Wodehouse. Comedies have a way of being funny.
5. One book that made you cry
I can't recall a book that made me cry. I'm not really a crier.
6. One book that you wish had been written
Life: A Users Manual with Detailed Instructions and Complete Contingency Plans
7. One book that you wish had never been written
The Communist Mannifesto. Communism has killed almost 100 million people. I wish that this horrific philosophy had never been conceived.
8. One book that you are currently reading
Myths, Lies and Downright Stupidity.
9. One book you’ve been meaning to read
The Art of War/On War unibook by Sun Tzu and Carl von Clausewitz.

well it seems you are now Mr.Rabenstrange..no longer teen rabenstrange...awesome...
love the books and my joey who is 11 has several hardy boys books he has read since he was 9...over and over...coincidence...I think not...I think "they" put something in your toasty O's to make you crave the plot lines associated with the Hardy Boys books....theory of conspiracy has no bounds hahahaha...ok im done rambling but I think peeps would have no interest AT ALL in hearing my voice in an audio post...hmm seems I think I've done one before...maybe an Adobe Illustrator tutorial...well much love in Him as you travel to the ends of the earth and experience many foreign speaking people!!! hehe
:My Man Jeeves by P.G. Wodehouse:
Wow, it's been a while since I've heard others mention Wodehouse. Cool!
My sister used to listen to him on tape all the time and I have fond memories of the weird/funny snatches I would hear. We laughed at the BBC video adaptations too. Good times...
Never read any of those books. I'll have to check out the Moon has a Harsh Mistress one... Sounds fun!
If you like Sci-Fi I recommend that you check out Oroson Scott Card "Enders Game" and following series
There were a few young girls next to us @ Seafair last weekend, the eldest didn't look as old as my sisters, maybe 10 or possibly 11, yet she had a stack of Heinlein books and read 2-3 of them in the 8 hours we were there. Then her younger sister started reading one of them (Assignment In Eternity I believe) but got through only 50 pages or so.
