Rabenstrange in LOVE!

I got a chance to shoot an M14 today. I am in love.
The beauty of the rifle is imeasurable. The price tag is stratospheric. It's a tragic case of unrequited love.
The sad story began when I went along with my little brother's Royal Ranger group to the rifle range to shoot with a Match Markmanship team (they've got several state and national champions).
I've never thought of myself as a great marksman. Frankly, I'm a horrible shot. For some strange reason I did good and the Coach of the team invited me back to practise with the team. Apparently, they use events like ours as a talent search and he thinks I have "potential". I'm pretty sure he's wrong but if it means I get to spend more time on the range I'm happy to oblige.

I think it is definately safe to say you don't have a girlfriend!;)
Garrett picked me up a bunch of full capacity clips for an AK47, so I'm really leaning in that direction for a rifle now.
Ok ok... I am surfing your blog trying to figure out why you are in Japan now. I thought you were in Seattle! Send me the link if you wrote about what lead you to Japan. I am assuming school of some sort...
But I came across this post... so maybe if you go back to my blog and look at that picture you will know what it is! If that isn't a hint then I don't know what is!! ;)
Take care!
