Today a slick campaign of propaganda is spreading an inane apologia of evil, a senseless cult of Satan, a mindless desire for transgression, a dishonest and frivolous freedom, exalting impulsiveness, immorality and selfishness as if they were new heights of sophistication.”I may disagree with the Catholics on a multitude of theological issues but it is encouraging to see that the church leadership is not going to be playing it up for the media and trying to make everyone happy. Sometimes the truth won't be popular and the willingness to speak it even when it will be met with disdain is something to be admired.

That's actually sort of weird, since Catholisism is sooooo off. They seem to have excuses for everything immoral. I watched this end times sorta movie and it showed a bunch of biblical signs that point to the Catholic church playing a big role in ushering in the Anti-Christ. Sorta freaky.
It's a good quote though. I just don't get why he felt like saying that...Maybe their Indulgence sales were down?
