Starting Again
I am started my Bible reading plan for this year. Every year I read a few chapters a day according to a special apportionment and read through the entire Bible. So far I have read through the Bible eight times. This year will be my ninth.
I am very thankful for my parents for getting me started on this habit. The systematic reading of Scripture has helped me to gain a bigger picture of what the Bible says and what its individual books, chapters and verses mean.
I encourage any of you who have not read through the Bible at least once to give it a try this year. I use the Tyndale One Year Bible. If you don't want to purchase a new Bible there are many reading plans and schedules available online. A simple Google search should reveal a few.

Sadly, I have never done that. I hop all over the place when I'm reading.
well, i'm certainly impressed! i need to be more disciplined in this area...i tend to be more like pickles and hop to where i feel life is pressing at the moment.
blessings!
i too am a "hopper." most people say they get stuck in all the laws of the old testament...personally, i find a lot of those laws fascinating and find myself thanking Him because i don't have to keep all of them or else make a sacrifice!
That's amazing! 9 times! I'm thinking about looking for a reading plan on the Internet.
Wow! That's really good nine times straight through!
I hop all over the place.. :)
WOW!! I'm currently on my first time through. Kinda sad isn't it.
Oh, I needed this challenge! Thanks. *grin*
