Forbes is Right

I read a good column today in Forbes Magazine.

It was this month's Fact and Comment by Steve Forbes.

Mr. Forbes opined that the solution to Abramoff-style, felonious lobbying is not more regulation and attempts to keep the money out of politics but rather a decrease in the influence and scope of government.

When government sticks its tentacles into every facet of our lives it is inevitable that its power will be misused. Does it really surprise anyone that there are people who make livings trying to tap into this corruption for their own selfish benefit?

You can read the article here for two bucks or in the current issue of Forbes. I read Forbes at my local library.

Good comment. I will admit I am not very political and I don't really understand all that.

It's sounds awful for me to say, but it sounded good anyway. *sheepish grin*
