Gingerbread Houses!
I've been trying to put this post out since Sunday evening but we've got a giant bindery job in at work so I haven't had alot of time.
My Aunt Janet came over Sunday and we decorated gingerbread houses with her. In order of appearance from left to right are, Mom, Mason, Madeline, Zach, Me, Aunt Janet in red and Arita in white. Emily also helped but savvy frood that she is, she managed to escape the cameras.Aunt Janet brought pre-baked kits. I offered to bake gingerbread but I guess she didn't trust me to make it right. Oh well, the kits usually fit together better than home baked houses.

Maddie seemed to enjoy this project.
We made two houses, a big one for Aunt Janet and a small one for our house. Here are the finished products:
This is the big house, sitting on top of our piano next to the Nativity set. Aunt Janet particularly liked the reindeer that dispenses brown jelly beans.

Chocolate.
Chocolate is ftw...
Is Maddie enjoying the construction aspect of the project or the consumption of the building materials aspect of the project? *smile*
Uh Chocolate! The fact that you would even question it makes me question your sanity!
And hey, you have hair in that picture!
Arg! What does "ftw" mean?
For the win.
A phrase used by "hardcore" gamers which I sometimes use in common conversation because I find it amusing.
Chocolate.
How did you guys make the trees?
Trinity,
Do you mean the green ones? We coiled green Sour Strawz around icecream cones. then we attached little bits of chopped gumdrops and small candies.
Your sister is just a little cutie.
The house looks really yummy.
Merry Christmas,
P.S.
nice sandals
OMG! Did you just break your sandal strap and have to replace it with duck tape?!!
*smile*
Bindery job? I don't know if it's the same thing but I used to work in a bindery in Seattle. Actually it was in Woodinville and it was called "The Bindery." Where do you work?
Wow, normal gingerbread houses, don't see those here. I've seen three gingerbread houses here @ Disney, the smallest one only contained 830 kilos of gingerbread; as cool as it is to over-do things it gets excessive after a few months. Hope they are tasty.
Wow, what a beautiful house! My friends and I decorated a gingerbread house but it ended up being a little ratty-looking (someone drew a face with icing on one of the walls, *eyeroll*).
I hope it was a smiley face!
