The Turkey Day Approaches
Greetings,
My weekend has started off poorly. I spent the entire day raking leaves and mowing the yard. Oh well, I've still got 27.5 hrs. of weekend left.
Since Turkey Day is coming soon, I thought I'd tell what our family is doing to observe this holiday.
We're going to Spokane to visit my aunt's house to eat, play games and maybe do some suicide shopping. It should be cool.
For those of you unfamiliar with Washington geography, Spokane is on the east half of the state, on the opposite side of the Cascade mountain range from Seattle.
It usually takes us about 5 hrs. to get their. Unfortunately they've been having rockslides on the pass and now Snoqualmie's only got one lane going through. They're expecting huge backups. It'll probably take alot longer than 5 hrs.
That's okay though. I'll have my CD player and a bunch of books so I'll get an extended reading time.
When we get to Spokane, I'll get to hang out with the cousin's and we'll probably play some games or watch a movie.
It'll be fun.
