SAT
Yesterday, I took the SAT. I don't think I did as well as I had hoped I would. I ran out of time and left 3-4 questions unanswered. That made me feel very sad because it ruled out the possibility of a perfect score.
Last week a took a couple of the tests out of the Official SAT study guide. From those I'm almost positive that I got a score somewhere in the range of 2000 to 2300. For those of you who don't know a perfect score is 2400 and average is about 1500.

Well you should do well...I know not having the perfect score is a bummer, but you should do fine. I cannot remember exactly, but I got either a 2050 or 2150 on my SAT and I actually did better on my ACT although they did not score the same way. My math, science, and history were my best scores on the ACT.
You have an advantage to most students entering college at any rate...
Not to be contradictory, but they just changed the SAT adding an entire new section. Unless you took your test within the last few months your scores seem impossible.
Previously, the maximum score was a 1600.
I took the new SAT, too-- for practice. (I'm nowhere near getting to college yet!) It was Ok, I guess. The essay thing was dissapointing, because I love writing and so I thought I'd get a better score. Unfortunately, I froze up when I found out I only had fifteen minutes...:) oh well, I'll take it again next year for more practice, and hopefully I'll know what to expect more!
You are not...This was back in 1989...so I do not remember, i just no that it was **50 and it was 200 points from the maximum. I thought they had it in the 2000's but I do not remember..so it could have been 1350...back in '89...
Hmm, for some reason I thought you were older...I liked the SAT better than the ACT. Have you taken the ACT?
I personnally liked the ACT better just because I am better in Science and History than English. I do not know what it is like now so I will not comment on the scoring this time since I do not remember what my score was other than I did better than my SAT in comparison.
Meh. I share your sentiments; I too ran out of time on a few of the runs.
My score (in 2001) was 1280. Neemund's was 1320.
wow. I took the SAT a few years ago. I didn't make above 1000, but that's probably because I was in 7th grade...
