Home for the Holiday
Our Turkey Day plans have changed radically.
Madeline has been sick for the last couple of days so to avoid infecting the relatives we're staying home.
It will be the first time that in my memory that our family has spent Thanksgiving home alone. In the past we always went to Grandma's house and once to Aunt Sue's. This year we were planning to go over the mountain and through the pass to visit Aunt Sue again. Unfourtunately, it was not meant to be.
While I'm very disappointed that our trip has been cancelled this opens up new possibilities for suicide shopping. I like being able to get all my Christmas shopping done in one day (or the great majority of it as the case may be).
I wish you joy as you celebrate thankfulness by consuming a seratonin-precursor laden, avian corpse.

That is unfortunate that your sister is sick. I hope she get better soon as it's no fun being sick.
