Going Hunting!
Today I'm leaving to go hunting over in eastern Washington. I won't be back until Sunday so you guys will just have to muddle through without me for a few days.
I am going with my Uncle Chris, Dad and my little brother Mason. Mason won't actually be hunting, he's just coming along to get the hunting experience without doing any real hunting.
We will be partaking in the late muzzle loader season. Basicly what that means is we will be hunting our prey with rifles that are replicas of those used in the 1800's.
A muzzle loader, as the name implies is loaded through the muzzle. First powder is poured down the barrel, then a patched roundball is shoved down the barrel with a ramrod. Finally, a cap is placed over the nipple providing a source of ignition for the powder charge in the barrel.
Maybe if I'm lucky I'll have a picture of a big gut pile to show you when I get back.

I had a girlfriend that went hunting this year for the first time, She got a six pointer. YOu should see her, she's a little 4 foot 8, and she took it down in one Shot.

i think it would be cool to learn archery; that was a funny comment about macs by the way :)
ooohhh hunting! fun fun...uh...no gross pictures though...lol. *shudder* I have seen things other then the apple ipod...but I dunno...it's pretty cool...though the other ones are cheaper!
