Switchfoot Relegated to Hero Status

As most of you know Switchfoot is probably my favorite band of all time. I love their music. I listen to their CD's endlessly and I know the words to most of their songs. I am delighted to find that my adoration has not been misplaced.



Apparently, Switchfoot's latest CD, entitled "Nothing is Sound" contains copy protection on the disk. This made it more difficult for users to upload the music to their computer, MP3 player or set up a Torrent.

A week ago Switchfoot made their position on the matter clear. They posted a heartfelt apology to their fans in the Sony Music Forum and posted instructions for cracking the disc and circumventing the copy protection. (Read It)

Maybe their next CD will have an online release.
