My New Favorite Show

Last night, The Shadow Walker, AFineLookingYoungMan and I went over to TBQelite's stronghold to do a little binge watching.

My sisters had their birthday party yesterday evening. They invited over a large number of their very loud friends to sleep over and do all manner of girly things. I made a point of prepairing an escape plan.

TBQelite and I have been planning a binge watch for awhile. When I heard about my sisters' party I recognized an opportunity. We promptly scheduled our event for the same evening. It came off splendidly. The Shadow Walker picked me towards the end of the party. I was able to put in an appearance and avoid being rude by skipping it entirely.

The show we chose to watch was Firefly. We watched all 14 episodes, including the double length pilot, all the special features and the trailers for the new movie Serenity. The total length was well over 10 hours.

Firefly is the most awesome TV show I have ever seen. It is a Sci-Fi Western. It is so different than anything I have seen before that I can't accurately describe how wondeful Firefly is. While it did have its share of scenes that required fast-forwarding. The script was masterful. I laughed so hard, so often that I my sides ached and my throat became dry. The action was sweet. The charachters were vivid and every single one added an unforgettable element. My review really doesn't do justice to how good this show was.
