Things may not be as dire as I predicted in my Monday post. I have registered for classes but I will be taking a little array of courses.
AMST 260 Online
JAPAN 102
METR 101 - Not 105 as I previously thought
ACCTG 230
You might look at this and think that the changes seem very small. The changes however meen that I will be able to knock off a humanities requirement with a teacher I really like. I get to take Accounting with a teacher who, according to another student, gives tests instead of projects (I generally do much better, with less effort on tests). And most importantly it sets everything up perfectly for possibly starting at the University of Washington a year earlier.
Praise the Lord for he has power even over the college beaurocracy

I'm the same way with tests. I'd rather take a test then do a project. It's less work.
I was rather peeved with my Bio teacher gor giving us a take home test which wasn't multi choice like her other tests have been. It was pargraph form. Which I can do just as good as a multiple choice test but I don't prefer it because it takes more time and effort. She gave it over beak too! How she loves to torture us. *sobs*
Projects are much better than tests... I do much better on projects cause I don't have to memorize everything. All you have to do is a little research and put it together...
You guys sound really lazy...
Unfortunately it looks like I've missed the application deadline for UW so I will still probably have to wait a year.
We sound lazy?!?! Well, after a few quarters of college homework and studying and dealing with instructors you love to hate, let's see you lazy you become.
i agree with emily, i would much rather do a project then a test, mostly because I'm horrible at tests and never really do well on them. But thats just me.
I personally excel at projects. Not team projects though. Team projects suck. I also do well at tests so it's all good.
I suck at the paper writeing part of projects so I hate projects tests seem to work betterfor me there easier

I totally understand small changes like that equating to *huge* amounts of free time. Good luck on getting in UW early! :) Word of advice: when applying, put down more than one major. ;)
