This weekend my parents, Mason and Madeline are going on a mini church retreat to study for their upcoming JBQ tournament in Missouri. Emily and Arita are at a birthday party which means that I am home babysitting Zach. Luckily he has behaved very well for me.
Last night I renewed my familiarity and hatred for the substance Kraft foods fraudulently labels "Macaroni and Cheese". I despise those rubbery noodles and the powdered chemicals that give them their sickingly orange hue.
Real macaroni and cheese is a delicious meal that consists of elbow pasta with a delicious white sauce, loads of sharp chedder, chopped onions and succulent bacon. It isn't boiled on the stove; it's baked in the oven until the cheese melts and gets crispy on top. It is heavenly.
So now that I have wasted my time writing this and your time reading this I will go and do something more productive, like play WCIII.

Wow, sucks you be you. You don't get paid very much to babysit your siblings at all. As for "Macaroni and Cheese" it can also be deep-fried, but having onions with is sounds just plain weird.
"You don't get paid very much to babysit your siblings at all."
I don't get paid at all.
You dont get paid at all? That realy bites. but your baby sitting Zach he seems like a fun kid to babysit.
I love Kraft Mac and Cheese, rubbery noodles, glowing cheese and all. I am going through withdrawal, because over here a blue box costs £2!!! (about $4!) But my roomie's mom is sending easy mac, so all will be well. (If you want to send me real mac and cheese I would take that also!)
I never got paid for babysitting my siblings either. But the youngest is only seven years younger than I am, so pretty much by the time I was old enought to babysit all six of the young ones had reached an age of accountability and weren't too much a problem. Could have been worse...
I am 14.5 years older than Zach and 16.25 years older than Madeline. I'll be babysitting until I move out.
Yes you will.
I started babysitting very early and never got paid for it either. In fact, when I go home on leave, I still end up babysitting the five-year-old for free!
Your "real" Macaroni and Cheese sounds really good. I've never tried it.
I, apparently unlike the rest of the population, do not like Easy MAc, but do like the orginal stuff in limited quanities. So there.
The Kraft mac is acceptable as are most of the generic brands. I like food that is simple, quick(ish), and easy to make.
Did you know that Kraft foods is owned by Phillip Morris, the cigerette company? I highly doubt that a cigerette company has the initiative to make healthy products for the consumers of its falsely labeled pasta.

How about Hamburgers. You throw them in a pan or on the grill wait a few minutes, filp them over, wait a few more minutes, put on bun and eat. There's no chemical cheese subsitutes (unless you put on Velveeta) or rubbery noodles.
Death to Velveeta!
On the babysitting issue, I may have a one up there. I babysit my niece and I do get paid, mainly because I was having trouble getting a job and was asked if I could help. Although it isn't for very much, but I guess a paycheck is a paycheck. Regardless who owns the company of Kraft, the best way to be healthy is to look at the side label, it is there for a reason. I don't care what they say about low fat this, low cal that, low carb this...it's all in the nutrition label.
I like Kraft Macaroni and Cheese. At least I like the shaped ones. The plain ones are less exciting, therefore, they taste worse.
Velveeta is very very good on grilled cheese, but nothing else. Except cheese dip for nachos. But.. meh... it's pretty much only good on grilled cheese.
I get paid to watch my sibs, most the time.
I have to be REALLY hungry and with one other options to eat the Kraft type. I abore homemade stuff though. I have never heard of people putting onions in it, but bacon sounds good.
Very interesting post i have to say. I have similar info on my site if you're interested web site marketing related site. Feel free to take a look :)
