Local Bands
Saturday night I weant to a small concert. The concert cost five dollars and 100% of the proceeds went to World Vision, a group that feeds, educates and helps people in third world countries and disaster areas become self sufficent.
There were three bands playing, July, which wasn't that great, Summer Vacation(at least I think that's what their name was) which I had never heard of but was awesome, and Common Heroes which was as anyone who watches local bands around Seattle already knows pretty cool. Unfortunately Common Heroes base player wasn't there and so they ended up playing an acoustic set. It was kind of disappointing but they're playing at Graceland on Sunday so I guess it wasn't that big of a loss.
I was really impressed by Summer Vacation, both their guitarists were really good. The only bad thing about them is that they don't have any CD's out. I have their songs stuck in my head and I am unable to listen to them. It's very irritating.
