Annan to Resign?
It looks like Kofi Annan's gross incompetence is finally catching up with him. The "Oil for Food" outrage is drawing attention to the other corruption that has and is occurring at the U.N. under his watch. Senator Norm Coleman, who is leading an investigation into the scandal, had this to say, “the most extensive fraud in the history of the U.N. occurred on his watch. In addition, and perhaps more importantly, as long as Mr. Annan remains in charge, the world will never be able to learn the full extent of the bribes, kickbacks and under-the-table payments that took place under the U.N.'s collective nose."
Personally, I think disposing of Annan will do little to improve the effectiveness or integrity of the U.N. as it is so corrupt at every level. Nevertheless, it will be greatly satisfying to watch this incompetent moron receive justice.

Amen!
i didn't really understand any of that...but...then again most things go over my head. :)
The talk is that Bill Clinton is on the short list of replacements for Ol' Kofi. I'm not sure if I like this or not, but I can't see him being any more anti-US than Kofi is/was. I'd personally like to see the US evict the UN from its current location and lease out the building, its gotta have tens of millions of dollars in real estate in that whole compound. Let them rebuild in France or some other Socialist haven. Or even better, lets send them to Iraq, help them get all situated in Fallujah where the rebels hate us almost as much as the UN does.
